Bayou Prince

This project began when I saw a concept by Pixus.Art on Instagram back in March and was worked on sporadically for about a week and a half. You can find her concept art as the first image in this post.

The prince and his steed were blocked out in Maya before being brought into Zbrush for dynameshing/retopo and a high-detail sculpt. I implemented trees, lilypads, and ground textures from Quixel.

This project started from an amazing concept by pixus.art on Instagram, who did this beautifully rendered painting that inspired the project.

This short clip showcases process renders I did at the end of every work session, starting from the scene setup.

A better view of the mid-process sculpt next to the concept for reference.
